Baby Zorio Number 4: A Gender Reveal Party

When John and I found out we were expecting Baby Zorio Number 4, I knew I wanted to have a gender reveal party!  We had never done this with the other kids (it wasn't even really a "thing" when I was pregnant with Dawson and we had so many fabulous showers to celebrate him), we had a great shower/couples party hosted by some sweet friends when we were expecting Carter, and then when we had Nora Kate my aunt and my Sunday School hosted showers since we had zero girl items.  We definitely do not need a shower for baby 4 as we have everything we need, but I wanted to get to celebrate him or her nonetheless.  AND a gender reveal party is the perfect way to do just that!

Here's our big reveal photo!  It's a BOY!!

Here's the fun invitation we sent out.  (the address and phone number are under the blank boxes)

It's a BOY!

These were the little favors we gave out as guests left the party.  They're Hershey bars.  The "HE" is colored in blue and the "SHE" is colored in pink!

After the reveal, I sat out this mat for friends and family to sign.  We have done this with each child, and I hang it in their rooms with their newborn picture in it.  It's a sweet reminder of how many people loved each child even before they were born.

I made this cake to go with the bowtie or tutu theme.

And the inside was pink and blue!

FOOD!

After the big reveal we pulled out this sign that reveal baby 4's name...
Clayton Michael Zorio

Dawson had a great time at the party

After we opened the reveal box and blue balloons came out, Nora Kate started crying!

We let the boys open the box to do the reveal.
They were SO happy to see blue balloons and learn they were having a BROTHER!!

I love how you can see Dawson smiling as he's just seeing the blue balloons!

It's a boy!

Just for some fun at the party before the reveal, we had asked each guest to wear pink or blue to cast their vote.  We then made these teams...here's team blue!

And team pink!

Then we played a couple fun games.  Here's the baby bottle drinking game.  Three members of team pink went up against three members of the blue team to see who could finish their bottles of apple juice the fastest!

This was hilarious...our friends and family were such good sports to play these silly games without complaining!  They must know I love a good funny game!
And this was definitely entertaining and fun!

Here was the other game...the giant baby rattle game.  Each team had to be the first to shake all their rattle beads from top to bottom passing it from one to the next person on their team.

Team Pink won the baby bottle game and Team Blue won the rattle game.

I love these next couple of pictures my brother took of Carter playing during the party.

There were SO many kids here! It was awesome!  Everyone had several friends to play with and the kids were so entertained with the playset, the gator, sidewalk chalk, stomp rockets, balls and the inflatable!

When guests arrived we had their cast their guesses and take a sticker!

This was such a fun way for John, the kids, and I to share our excitement over Baby Number 4 with our friends and family.  We are SO excited that Baby 4 is a boy. And we love being able to talk about him by name now too.  We are grateful that 48 people came out to celebrate Baby Clayton Michael Zorio with us, and we know he is already loved by many! Thanks to everyone who helped us celebrate! What a fun afternoon!
