Dawson's 7th Birthday Party

This year for Dawson's birthday we gave him several choices of party locations other than our backyard.  We figured since he had never had a party anywhere other than our house he would pick one of those choices, but in the end he asked specifically if we could have a Lego themed party, in our backyard, with an inflatable, a piƱata, and cake and ice cream...this was totally doable, so he got those requests!  This year Dawson's birthday actually fell on a Saturday which worked out perfectly for his party.  He has 19 other kids in his class at school and wanted to invite them all, so we did...along with his other friends from outside of school.  The weather was perfect for being outside-not too hot at all!
Dawson was thrilled to have LOTS of friends be able to come to his party.  I think I've got everyone one this list:  Lolly, Pop, Nana, Grandad, Daddy, Mommy, Carter, Nora Kate, Clayton, Carson, Harper, Jessica, Casey, David, Sarah, Alexa, Connor, William, Bailey, Tanya, Kyle, Jack, Ella, Brynn, Braia, Jillian, Carolyn, Skylar, Andrea, Freddie, Charlie, Olivia, Colt, Nora, Charlie T., Violet, Dylan, and Abigail.  Lots of friends to help celebrate!
Happy 7th Birthday, Dawson!

Our big 7 year old!

Everyone had fun in the inflatable!

Playing corn hole.

Since we had lots of friends, it was the perfect time to pull out the parachute!

A real party animal right here! Haha! Clayton relaxing during Dawson's party!

Dawson had requested a game, so we played pin the head on the Lego man!

The kids enjoyed this!

The end product of the game!  It was hard to tell who won!

The Lego man cake I made for Dawson's birthday.

Pinata as requested by the birthday boy!

Ready to hit the piƱata!

Here's the invitation we sent out.
For the blog, I covered our address with the white box.
Dawson was so excited about the Lego invitations.

Dawson had a great birthday, and we are so thankful for all of Dawson's friends and our friends who came to help us celebrate our sweet boy turning SEVEN!

Clayton's 7th Week

Clayton's 7th Week began with celebrating his Pop's birthday.  We went over there for pizza and of course cake!  Also, this week he went to (a friend) Jackson's birthday party where he slept almost the whole time in the carrier I was wearing.  Then on Sunday I celebrated my first Mother's Day as a mother of FOUR, thanks to sweet Clayton.
I don't want to be redundant in these weekly updates, but not too much has changed from last week.  Clayton is STILL such a good baby!  He's eating about every 3 hours, going a 4 hour stretch at night.  He LOVES bath time.  His baby acne is FINALLY starting to clear up!  His siblings still LOVE him...to the point that I have to say, "Give him space." "Let him breathe!" quiet frequently because they are always right in his face! They love to hold, cuddle, kiss, and talk to him.  Clayton has become even more generous with his sweet smiles this week, which we all love!

Looking like a big boy propped in his crib.

Nora Kate is never far from "our baby" as she calls him.

LOVE his smiles! My baby boy!

When Nora Kate wakes up in the mornings she always requests Clayton to lay in her bed with her.

Clayton fell asleep propped in his boppy pillow like this.  Next thing I know he's laughing and smiling in his sleep!

My first Mother's Day as a Mother of FOUR!!

Feeling very blessed by the four precious kids!
