We had a great Dollywood Day and great weekend in Pigeon Forge overall. Having lived in Alabama for almost a year again now, we felt like we appreciated the beauty of the mountains even more than when we lived in Tennessee and saw it everyday. So pretty.
We swam, floated, and played in the resort's Lazy River for hours on Saturday with Nana and Grandad. Then we went to play putt putt before coming back for more pool time!
That evening the boys went back to swim in the pool, but Nora Kate was exhausted and wanted some down time in the room. Sweet girl
Beautiful view from the resort
The kids ALL smiles after riding the fire chaser roller coaster!
Dollywood opened their new Wildwood Grove area since we had last been in September, and the kids had fun checking these new rides out.
When we were waiting in line for a ride I happened to look down and notice Carter and Nora Kate just standing in line holding hands. Melted my heart. I love the sweet relationship between these two.
Another new ride...this one was a fav!
Then Zoe, Zachary, Emily, and Eric got there. The kids had fun riding rides with their cousins!!
Thanks for a fun weekend, Nana and Grandad!
