This week was Huntsville's National Night Out sponsored by Target, and we went and took Dawson. Last year when we went, Dawson was only 9 weeks old. This year he enjoyed the evening A LOT more! They have police cars, the swat vehicle, fire trucks, animals from the Huntsville Animal Shelter that need to be adopted, a band, and food. Dawson was interested in the big fire truck with the long ladder, but when a firefighter asked if Dawson would like to get in the truck he chickened out! :) He did have fun looking at all of the fire trucks and the gauges on the sides. He also had fun dancing to the band who was there playing music. He also loved looking at the two dogs that needed to be adopted. He kept wanting to go stand by their cage and just point to them over and over again saying, "doggie!" He really does LOVE animals. We had a fun evening at the event.
The rest of the week we just spent time playing together in the playroom, coloring, and taking walks in the neighborhood. I've posted some pictures below from our fun week. Enjoy!

they gave us some figs they picked from it. I was not too sure
what I should do with all the figs we had, so I made this recipe
for Fig Newtons which turned out pretty good.
his dirty laundry to the clothes hamper, drop
it inside, and close the lid. He has been doing a
good job of doing it when we ask him to take
his laundry. As you can see from the picture, he
gets VERY excited about doing it!
week. He always decides it is more fun to color on my
paper than his! :)
