At 15 months Clayton's little personality is starting to show more and more each day, and we absolutely love seeing it shine! This month Clayton has had lots of pool time. We have been a little surprised that he's just okay with being in the pool and doesn't love it...this surprised us because he absolutely loves the bath tub, splashing in the water table in the backyard, and playing in the kiddie pool in the yard. He doesn't mid getting his face wet and will voluntarily do so in the kiddie pool or bathtub. He doesn't really love being in his float in the pool nor does he love being held in the pool. He is happiest playing on the steps with me right by his side. I think he loves the water but wants to be able to move freely in it and play. We are planning to go to the beach in the Fall, so I'm hoping that this changes by then or at least he will be happy with the ocean so he can walk and play in the water that way.
Clayton is such a good boy. This summer we have been on the go a lot (for fun reasons), and he's so good to toddle along with me holding my hand at the park or playground, and ride in his stroller, the car, or the carrier I wear when necessary. He's so happy and so fun! I love this age and this sweet boy!
