June 2020

As I mentioned the end of May was a little bit of a sweet spot in this whole pandemic because things started to reopen with new odd rules, well after a surge in cases of the virus things tightened back up in June.  Face masks started being required in public.
Thankfully we love June's hot weather and most outdoor places do not require face masks, so we took full advantage of this!
Carter continued golf lessons. It also gave Dawson time to practice hitting while we were at the range.

The kids were still on a big puzzle kick and completed this 500 piece puzzle!

We had eaten at an outdoor restaurant (Hops and Guac) and the kids LOVED this giant Jenga set.  Dawson wanted to buy one, but John helped to make him one! It's a hit!

Our neighborhood pool opened in May, so we went about 4-5 times a week! We love the sun!
Most of the time we had it to ourselves! Private pool that we don't have to maintain...yes please!

One of the kids chores is to roll the trash to the street once a week.  Carter was so excited to do this chore on this particular Tuesday because he found this green frog on the can! He just had to catch him and keep him for a week...and feed him yucky crickets!

We had a couple beautiful rainbows this month.

These pictures are obviously out of order because this was the night we ate dinner out and they boys played giant Jenga and got the idea for their own set.

One of my most favorite things about our house...we get a beautiful sunset almost every night!!! It's unreal. This is looking out the back windows.

We started reading our summer chapter book as a family...this summer we started the Little House Series.

Again out of order...
But Nora Kate and I were pretty excited to eat dinner somewhere other than home when we went to eat outdoors at campus 805 so we dressed up.  She wanted to match...blue dresses and wedges.

Clayton's baseball season continues and it is adorable! He's loving it and a pretty good little player.

Our kids were SO excited to get to have some friends over.  They had basically been staying home like us, so we all figured we were safe with each other.  Here's Clayton with his buddy Ruby.

Nora Kate had Annie over.

And the big boys had Henry.  All 3 kids spent the night. Here they are ending their day with a movie.

They were here when our church delivered some fun kids activities so they delivered enough for all 7 kids and we did the activities and experiments together! This was one...the coke with nerds in it, inflates the balloon!

Or three balloons!

More baseball practice!

Clayton's a left handed batter.

We are enjoying the fruits from our garden.

Duke the dog comes to baseball with us!

Game time!
Go Clayton!

Go Giants!
Could he be any cuter in that uniform!?

Swimming with no puddle jumper this summer.

Another beauitful sunset.

Nora Kate is still baking up a storm!

Swimming at a friends pool

How many kids can the giant unicorn float hold!?
SEVEN!

Sweet friends.

It wouldn't be the end of June if we didn't go pick blueberries!

A LOT of blueberries!
YUM

Coach Daddy and Baseballer Clayton

Melt my heart.

There weren't too many pictures for June because one week of the month we spent at the beach (another post on that coming soon!) and a lot of the pictures I took this month also include our new puppy (another post on that coming soon too!)

We had a fantastic June.  Summertime is the best time.
