June absolutely flew by! Typically our Junes are pretty slow and relaxed and we just add in fun activities every day that we want to do, but this June had A LOT on the calendar. 99percent of it was fun and entertaining though...including a beach trip (more about the beach trip in another post though).
Baseball ended for Clayton at the very end of May, but Carter's team kept playing on into June! In fact I was starting to get worried they wouldn't finish the season before our beach trip, but they did...they literally finished their last game less than 12 hours before we left for the beach so it ended up being perfect timing.
Carter absolutely loved his first season ever of baseball.
They got a medal for making it so far in the tournament.

We had Nora Kate's friend Annie over to spend the day with us...ranger rides, pool time, watching a movie, and cupcakes were the highlights.

June has been SUCH a hot month!!
The feels like has been over 100 degrees many days so we have spent a lot of time at the pool!
We have visited Main Event a couple of times for fun and games!
We practically lived at the Botanical Gardens this month. Dawson was awarded a spot as a Youth Volunteer after a lengthy application process which required letters of recommendation, essays, and interviews. He is required to do a minimum of 30 volunteer hours (broken into 3 hour shifts) over the course of the summer. So we have done LOTS of activities at the gardens and near the gardens while he's volunteering.
The gardens have a swing exhibit now, and they had fun checking out all the different kids of swings, like Egg Swings.

John and I celebrated our 15th anniversary...fifteen years! Sounds crazy long, but it's gone by so fast!
He got me these beautiful flowers on our anniversary.

While Dawson was at his trumpet lesson one afternoon we went by to check on the garden the elementary kids had planted at school right before they got out for summer. They were thrilled so see it doing SO WELL!

I haven't posted about this before, but I've been working on getting my real estate license this year. I passed my state and national exams and am now with a brokerage!
These two baseball bros went to baseball camp through Athens High School.
They LOVED it!
On the last day of camp they had a slip and slide and this giant water slide! SO fun!
This is a little out of order, but this is the first morning of baseball camp at drop off!

Nora Kate has been doing summer gymnastics, and, of course, loves it. That's her climbing the rope. She's higher than she looks.
We have had several visits to the library.
Nora Kate and Dawson got the opportunity to go with our wonderful neighbor to hear Prevailing Winds Flute Ensemble play at the Huntsville Museum of Art. They loved the experience!
We sure packed a lot into June, and this doesn't even include our beach trip!
