We basically had the entire place to ourselves this particular morning, so it was almost as if we had rented the place for our own little playdate! SO fun!

I don't even know where to begin on this....
Dawson and Carter have shared a room for exactly a year this month! We have always talked about how well it has gone and how surprised we were that they have always done so well. WELL...we have sure been struggling this month!
In early May Carter learned to climb out of his crib, and he was doing it over and over! Thankfully he NEVER got hurt, but it meant we HAD to convert his bed to a toddler bed. This new found freedom is a lot to handle when you share a room with a brother you just love to wrestle and be silly with! I would like to say that now that we've had 3 weeks like this we have adjusted, but we haven't! I'm telling myself that in a year we will look back on this as a distant memory...but I am SO spoiled to putting them to bed at 8 and closing the door for the night. Now they are in there doing all kinds of nonsense for at least an hour or hour and a half every night which requires me to continually go in and correct them. This has been a big challenge, but I LOVE that these two can share a room so I am determined we can survive this! haha!
So, this picture above was Carter rolling around in his bed (without pants haha) as soon as I converted it to his toddler bed! He was so excited!!
We have spent every Saturday morning at the baseball field this month cheering on this great team!

AND John is coaching with Carson's Daddy (Dawson refers to the coaches as "Coach Daddy" and "Coach Carson's Daddy" haha).
AND it also means I get to chat with Carson and Harper's Mom during the game too! FUN! I'm glad Carter has a little friend for the ballfield too!

For Mother's Day Dawson's class did the most precious little program. All of the moms were invited to a tea where they kids sang songs and showed off artwork they had drawn for us! It was adorable!!!

After they sang they got to come sit with us and eat too! Dawson was thrilled to sit by Bailey! :)
And I had to get a picture of Dawson with Eric, one of his school friends he talks about a lot!
Ms. Libby also read out loud the answers kids had given about their mothers during the program. Here's what Dawson said and was read about me!
Some kids said their moms were 4 or 99, but Dawson said I was 30...he may have made me two years older than I am, but he's so close I'll let him off the hook! :)
Then they presented us with pictures the kids had drawn of us. Dawson said he gave me a big smile! And he said he drew an orange washing machine for me because I like doing laundry (haha!) and he drew the stroller.
I feel like his picture is pretty accurate in that I do seem to spend A LOT of time with the washing machine and double stroller! HAHA!
Another baseball morning!
It seems impossible that this school year for Dawson has come to a close! I had so many mixed emotions sending him for the first time this year, but it really was the perfect experience! Here Dawson is with his two teachers Ms. Nancy (left) and Ms. Libby (right). He loved school and his two sweet teachers!

Next year he will be in kindergarten readiness for 5 year olds that is 3 days a week, and then the following year he will be in kindergarten! If only I could freeze time right now, that would be perfect!

Time for another birthday!
Lolly's birthday was the 19th! Our cake looked pretty good...but the boys decided we needed A LOT of sprinkles, so I let the sprinkle away...then the cake looked like this! Thankfully Lolly loved all the sprinkles added haha!

We gave each of Dawson's teachers a plant with this message on it at the end of the school year.
I had the most wonderful Mother's Day! This was the card the kids made for me, and I love it better than any store bought card because 1) John did paint with the kids to make it! 2) It has all 3 kids hand prints on it (Nora Kate's is the white smear!) 3) Dawson finger painted the letters, 4) they had fun making it for me Dawson said!
I wish I had gotten a picture of me with the kids on Mother's Day, but it was a busy weekend with Dawson's birthday party and we just didn't. I got some wonderful shoes, a new phone case, and some kitchen items!!! Probably the best part of Mother's Day was that by some miracle we ALL made it to church ON TIME for early service with no one breaking down or taking fffooorrreeevvveeerrr to eat breakfast and get out the door on a Sunday morning! (This has been a rarity lately!)

One of Dawson's birthday gifts from us was a worm farm! HE LOVES IT!

This little lady is really starting to enjoy picking up food with that pincher grasp and feeding herself. In fact, she prefers to feed herself!

These three get a bath together every night. It is always either REALLY fun for everyone or slightly crazy, but they enjoy it!

We went to our friend Jackson's 1st birthday party last weekend, and the kids had a blast!!! In fact, they were really sad to leave! They got to sit on this tractor!
And go on several hay rides!!!
Monday we went to the library to pick out new books for our upcoming trip. After spending a lot of time in the library, we enjoyed walking around the park outside. We found baby birds being fed by their mother in this bird box, and they boys watched FOREVER!
