On October 21st, Clayton turned seven months old! His first tooth popped through his gums (after a few days of drool and runny nose) this month. He got it at 6.5 months old. He is by far our earliest teether!!! The other kids didn't get tooth number 1 until right around their 1st birthday-Carter being the latest teether getting tooth number one the night before he turned 1. So needless to say we were really surprised. AND it looks like he's trying to cut the tooth next to it, so we will probably see tooth #2 come through this month I expect. He really wasn't fussy teething though which was GREAT!
Clayton (or Mr. Baby, as Nora Kate still calls him) continues to be an amazing baby! He's so good and happy ALL THE TIME! He has slept through the night a few nights here and there, but he does not do it regularly. On a normal night he gets up 2 (sometimes 3) times, but after I nurse him and lay him down-he goes right back to sleep!
At 7 months he didn't have an official check up, but we weighed him and he weighs 19 pounds 10 ounces. Definitely growing! He's eating good-nursing and some baby food. He enjoys sweet potatoes, spaghetti squash, zucchini, yellow squash, butternut squash, oatmeal cereal, and rice cereal. We have also given him some puffs and Cheerios this month which he LOVES!

This month was early voting for the first presidential election of Clayton's life. He, of course, came with us to vote. Here he is happily displaying his "I VOTED" sticker.
He loves the walker and all of his entertainment.

Every weekday morning Nora Kate comes with me to get Clayton up in the mornings, and she climbs in his crib and so sweetly snuggles him. I love this as much as Nora Kate.
Mr. Baby was SOOOO squirmy during these 7 month pictures!
